I was in a hurry to get homework started with Cain so I got a little messy. Definately a project to do while the kids are at school so I can take my time. DH and both kids really liked them.

Cookies for the teacher.

The tie bib is made using a brown cotton and the blue/brown hounds tooth fabric same as the tie. I used a layered batting in this bib to help keep baby dry. The tie and car are appliqued onto fabric before bibs are constructed. I made a onesie with brown car applique to match bib. I hope she likes them.

She has some great ideas so head on over and check her out. I have made the edible crayons from her site and the kiddos love them. You can download and print out crayon labels from her site as well. This makes a great treat for Friday treat day at school.

Have a great day!

The recipe online said to start with purple, blue, green, yellow, orange then red. It seems backwards when you cut it the bow shape is upside down with purple on top. You can make a cake using the same recipe. http://www.recipezaar.com/Rainbow-cake or http://recipe.aol.com/recipe/rainbow . I made my cupcakes using a Betty Crocker yellow cake mix and gel food coloring. White buttercream icing to look like clouds. I plan to put a gold foiled coin in the next batch to add to decoration for St. Patrick's day. Hope they enjoy!

Citzen of the month.
