Ready for a monster mash?

Aren't they cute! I made them for Savannah's kindergarten class. She was so excited and enjoyed helping me make them. She was able to put the marshmellows on the sticks while I dipped them. Which was a big help. I saw them in Paula Deen's cooking magazine back in September with her and Jack (grandson) making these for Halloween. I didn't purchase the magazine that day thinking I could pick it up later. Wrong. The next time I was in Wal-Mart I couldn't find it. I searched several stores and even the internet for the recipe and instructions without any luck. My mom has a good friend who gets Paula's magazine so she emailed me the recipe. Thanks Mrs. Linda and Mrs. Paula Deen!!!! I have the recipe and would love to share it if any one is ineterested email me. Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Savannah's Pumpkin aline dress

I finished Savannah's dress in time for her to wear it last Sunday to church. Just wanted to show the finished dress. Thanks for looking.

Cain's toothfairy pillow.

I have been trying to decide how to design this pillow for Cain. Over the weekend I cleaned out my fabric bin and saw this image of Spidey with his hand stretched out and the light came on. Anyway a day or two later I finally got around to making it. He loved it and is ready for that front tooth to come on out so he can use his pillow. It shouldn't be too much longer before it gets used that tooth is barely hanging on. I hope to sell some in the future. If anyone needs one or would like to give one as a gift please contact me. I have lots of ideas for girly ones.

They had corn cannons for the kids to shoot , pig races to watch, you can even rope a goat, farm animals to pet, a corn maze, cow train ride, hay ride, playground equipment, pumpkin barn and even fire pits for your own hot dog and marshmellow roasting. We didn't roast any hotdogs/marshmellows this year but I plan to next year. If you live near Lucedale it is really worth it to spend the day there with the kids having a fun.

New Mini Twisted Boutique Collections

Mini Bows
This is my latest style of hairbows. A friend of my requested some smaller bows but wanted them to be layered. This is what I came up with "mini" twisted boutique bows. As always they are hand sewn and heat sealed. I can attach them to a fully lined alligator clip or small sized french barrette. These little cuties measure 2.5 in in width. I have made several for my little one to hold her bangs back. I can make a larger size bow to match the mini bow if you are using the mini to hold bangs only or the mini looks precious as piggies. Thanks for checking these out: Rainbow Collection, Christmas Collection (pink/green polka dot & red/green polka dot), Spirit Collection (maroon/white, or your choice of color). $3.50 - $4.00 ea. set $7.50
Snack Bags
I decided to make my little ones bags to carry their snacks in to school instead of using brown paper bags. Check these out:

I will be making more to sell if anyone is interested please let me know. I think they would make really nice birthday gifts.

Baking and decorating cakes is just another one of my hobbies. I recently made these for a friend's daughter-in-law's baby shower. This was my first attempt to make petit fores. I think they turned out okay and as always I learned a few things not to do.

Pink, Black and White Zebra Stripes?

I used the pink, black and white color combination for this sassy layered bow. The zebra stripes and polka dots add a little savvy to this bow. It measures 4 1/2 in. in width. The base bow is pink, fun zebra stripes and polka dots spikes, loops are white ribbon with smaller black ribbon to mimic a zebra stripe, center bow is pink bow with zebra stripes and the center pink and black knot. It is attached to a 70 mm/2.5 in. french clip. This can be sized down to make a mini layered bow as well. I can make this to match your little ones outfit. This bow has been listed on my etsy page it is made and ready to be shipped. As always my bows are hand sewn, heat sealed ends and made from quality ribbons. Made in a smoke free home. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Happy Fall Ya'll - Scarecrow applique

Summer is almost over and I am working on my fall, Halloween and Christmas designs. Here is a very Sassy-n-Savvy Scarecrow for fall. This applique can be applied to a t-shirt, long sleeved t-shirt or a-line dress. The colors of shirts may vary depending on what is available in the size. A-line dress can be made from navy, green or even orange gingham sizes 6mos up to 5t. I used a fun fringe trim for the hair/hay, buttons for the eyes, fabric for the cheeks and an embroidery stitch used for the mouth. My little one will be wearing this particular black long sleeve shirt when we go to the pumpkin patch this year (if it isn't too hot). Hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking!
